Mavic Cosmic Elite Rear Wheel - Clincher

Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels are built with high elliptical flanges and efficient, smooth bearings of the highest quality. What? This translates into a wheel built to power through rolling hills efficiently. The 30mm deep rim is aerodynamic and very stiff which makes the Elite a great criterium choice. Reasonably light for this type of build at 1770 grams total for the set. 815 grams for the front and 970 grams for the rear. Although the Cosmic Elite would not be considered a hill climb race wheel it is great for training in the mountains because it is wonderful to descend on. This wheelset loves to carve up the canyons because of it's overall stiffness.
